International Luni Art Circle
The International Luni Art Circle is a new initiative to bring artists, musicians, photographers, writers and film makers together under one roof, who are all somehow connected to this magical area of Tuscany known as Lunigiana!
We offer the tranquility to be creative within an inspiring, natural environment at Settimo Cielo Retreat, as well as getting to know one another, share food around our kitchen table and have a jolly good time. I love the idea of people from all nationalities and walks of life being creative together! We plan to meet four times a year, April, June, August and October for a full day and evening. Happy to arrange lunch and dinner but would also like to organise picnics up at the Torre on occasion, where perhaps everyone makes a contribution! It would be so lovely to incorporate different dishes, tasting food from around the world. The sessions will commence at 9am, a chance to chatter and catch up over coffee with home made biscotti! Everyone can drift in their own time to find a patch where they feel inspired…..within the vegetable garden, in the potting shed, at the end of our land where a bench follows the circle of the oak tree…..on the Roof Garden….on the decking or under the leafy branches of a tree on one of the terraces,……..and set up! At round 12:30pm, we will share a lunch of fresh, seasonal produce. Wine will be included and special dietary requirements respected. |
Sharing food around our table is always a celebration and such a strong part of the Italian lifestyle.
After lunch, at around 2:30pm, we will return to our projects, breaking for an aperitivo at 6.30pm followed by dinner. Hoping that we will have the joy of being entertained with some live music from our musicians! There will be a one-off joining fee of €50 per person, which includes a newsletter with photographs that will be produced after each creative day. On the day, there will also be a reasonable charge for food and beverages, to be advised in advance. Contact us if you would like to become a member of the International Luni Art Circle! |
